Privacy Policy

Signatures.app (signatures.app) is operated by Productabot LLC (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you upload, send, sign or pay for a document here, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your document: the PDF you upload, where you placed its fields, any text you added, and the signed copy.
- People: the names and email addresses of the sender and the signers.
- Signing evidence: each signer’s adopted signature (typed, or the drawing), what they filled into their fields, the time, IP address and browser of each view and signature, and a log of what happened to the document (sent, reminded, signed, declined, canceled).
- Payment: Stripe processes card payments and Unlimited subscriptions. We receive confirmation that you paid, the amount, and your subscription’s status and renewal date; we never see or store card numbers.
We don’t read your documents, use advertising trackers, or sell your information to anyone.
Why we use it
To prepare, send and complete your document, to email the people on it, and to keep a reliable record of how it was signed — the record is the point of an electronic signature. We also use IP addresses to limit abuse.
Who else handles it
Amazon Web Services stores your documents, hosts the service and sends our email, in the United States. Stripe processes payments. Both act on our instructions under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
Documents that were sent, and their records, are kept so that the sender and signers can retrieve them for as long as they may need them as evidence. Uploads that were never sent are deleted after 7 days. A document someone signs alone, for free, is deleted from our storage within a day or two of signing. To ask about deleting or correcting information, email hello@signatures.app; because a signed document belongs to everyone who signed it, we may need to keep it if another signer relies on it.
Security
Documents are stored encrypted in private storage and travel encrypted. They’re reached only through private links that can’t be guessed, and the links that load a file into your browser expire after an hour. Document pages are never cached or indexed by search engines.
