Terms of Service
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of Signatures.app (signatures.app). By uploading, sending, signing or paying for a document here, you agree to them. Signatures.app is operated by Productabot LLC (“we”); “you” means anyone using it, whether you send a document or sign one you were sent.
What Signatures.app is — and isn’t
Signatures.app lets you upload a PDF, mark where it should be signed, send it to the people who need to sign, and receive the signed copy with a certificate of completion. We provide the signing service only. We don’t write, review or check your documents, we are not a law firm and we don’t give legal advice. We don’t promise that a document suits your situation, or that electronic signature is appropriate for it — a few kinds of document (some wills, court papers and notarized documents, for example) may need ink.
A document is between the people who sign it. We are not a party to it and have no obligations under it.
Electronic signatures
By signing on Signatures.app you agree to do business electronically, that the signature you adopt — typed or drawn — is your signature, and that you intend to be bound by the document you sign. We record each signer’s name, email address, the time, IP address and browser of their signature, and fingerprints of the file and of the fields, and include them in the certificate attached to the signed PDF. Please keep a copy of the signed PDF.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload documents you have the right to share with the people you send them to, and nothing unlawful.
- Give accurate names and email addresses, and only sign for someone else (a company, say) if you’re authorized to.
- Only send documents to people who expect to hear from you, and don’t use Signatures.app to harass anyone or to send spam.
- Keep your private links private. Anyone with a link can act as that person for that document.
- Don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
Price, payment and refunds
Uploading and preparing a document is free, and so is signing a document when you are its only signer. Sending a document to others for signature costs the price shown when you send it (currently $5 per document, for up to 10 signers), charged once by card through Stripe. Signers never pay. If a signer declines, you can send it to someone else in their place, or to them again, without paying again. If your document hasn’t been signed by everyone within 30 days of your payment, email hello@signatures.app within that time and we’ll refund you and cancel the document.
The Unlimited plan
Unlimited costs $99 a year (or the price shown when you subscribe) and covers every document you send from the email address you subscribed with, for as long as the plan is active. What you paid for single documents in the 30 days before subscribing comes off your first year. It renews automatically each year at the then-current price, charged to your card, until you cancel; we email you before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from signatures.app/plan — you keep Unlimited until the end of the year you’ve paid for, and it doesn’t renew. If you email hello@signatures.app within 14 days of a charge (your first or a renewal), we’ll refund it and end the plan.
Unlimited is for your own documents, or your business’s, within fair use: up to 50 documents a day. It isn’t for sending bulk or unsolicited requests, and we may suspend a plan used that way, refunding the unused part of the year.
Signing in
There are no passwords. To use or manage Unlimited you sign in with a link we email you, which proves you control that address and keeps you signed in on that browser for up to a year. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open your sign-in links can send documents on your plan.
Keeping your documents
Documents you send are kept, signed or not, so that you and your signers can download them from your private links. Uploads that are never sent are deleted after 7 days. A document you sign alone, for free, is deleted 24 hours after you sign it — download your copy straight away.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Signatures.app available and your documents safe, but we can’t promise uninterrupted service. We may change these terms; the version in force when you send, sign or pay applies to that document.
Disclaimers and limits
Signatures.app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability to you for anything relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the document concerned. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or the outcome of any dispute about a document.
